The preferred method of course is RFC2833. Are you using a supported provider? As leejor mentioned you might have to use wireshark to determine the issue on this one. I tried to login to freepbx sip_general_custom.conf but nothing is in there. Might be setting up this sip_general_custom.conf to refc=2833 will solve the issue. kindly advise.
