WebNov 23, 2024 · All Irish families have a variety of colouring. It is very noticeable in bigger families for obvious reasons. They didn't have black hair but dark brown hair. Apparently I had a great grandfather who died when he was 90 years old and had a full head of black hair. Not sure why some go grey. I've got a few grey hairs at my temples.
